How to Perform Secondary Polishing on 6063 Aluminum Plates

The production of porous anodized aluminum alloy plates made of 6063 aluminum alloy involves, in particular, the development trend of aluminum alloy raw materials after polishing, as well as corresponding polishing machinery, polishing fluids, and polishing processes.
Environmentally, aluminum alloys have high transmittance in infrared, visible light, and ultraviolet broadband spectrometers, making them a preferred choice for multispectral 3D imaging applications.
In addition, high-quality aluminum plates offer excellent processing performance, are lightweight, cost-effective, and have high thermal conductivity. Aluminum is the material of choice for support components in many optical elements, especially in aerospace applications. The aforementioned support structures and the same optoelectronic devices using aluminum raw materials can prevent the use of materials with different internal stress linear expansion coefficients.
Due to the poor performance of aluminum alloy polishing technology in my country, oxidation is easily generated, making it impossible to obtain high-precision ultra-fine surfaces. Diamond milling of aluminum alloys can achieve a surface roughness RaRa: the calculated average leveling error of the lens is better than that of 5nm mirror glass, but it will produce regular milling marks on the aluminum alloy surface, which will damage it and affect the 3D imaging quality analysis.
The polishing tool used in secondary polishing is a polishing disc, and the polishing fluid used throughout the process is the aforementioned polishing fluid. During the secondary polishing process, based on the removal effect of the polishing disc and the original surface appearance of the rough aluminum alloy, the entire optical surface forming process (APP) is controlled by a computer system.
The dwell time for the rough aluminum alloy surface roughness solution is calculated, and then the rough aluminum is subjected to secondary polishing using the automatic control system of the polishing table assembly. After the surface roughness target of the aluminum alloy raw material with a roughness ratio of 7/10 is determined by the RMS value, the raw material can include the aforementioned polishing solution. The appearance and data of aluminum 6061 or 7075 alloy products are not particularly important.
